For my 3rd AECP class it is all about stencils and different techniques to use your stencils as well as creating your own. This was a fun course and I completed several cards using a few different techniques.
This card was made by using an embossing paste through the stencil. I used Lunar Paste through the Altenew Halftone stencil. For the main image I used a leftover coneflower from my layering courses. A good way to utilize my supplies and combine lessons.
For my next card I used watercolors and painted through the holes in the stencil. I used Altenew 36 Watercolor palette. These paints come in such a neat little box perfect size to bring with me when I travel. I love it. I used a watercolor brush to add the colors to the watecolor paper. I used the Feathery Stencil. I used some Autumnal colors and I absolutely love the results. So pretty. After I finished the watercoloring I let the panel dry. Then I used Tim Holtz Mica Distress Spray in Copper to add a little shimmer to the card. I used some dies to cut the panel and I popped the inner panel up with foam for extra dimension. For the front of the card I stamped the feather from the Mini Delight Strength set onto white cardstock and vellum. Both were heat embossed with copper embossing powder. I did the same thing with the sentiment, and after heat embossing I fussy cut it before adding foam dimensional tape and adding it to the card front.
For this last card I posted the details about it on a previous post found here: https://angyhughescrafts.blogspot.com/2023/08/altenew-academy-stencil-class.html
